Stopping in Maryland for the night? On the East Harbor side and hungry for breakfast? This is your spot! We wondered down the block from our hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn looking for a quick breakfast and found the Saturday Morning Cafe in the Little Italy neighborhood. We ordered a coffee and strawberry lemonade for drinks, and when they were brought out with the basket of biscuits we were pleasantly surprised! The lemonade is sweet and tangy with fresh strawberries. The biscuits were a great start with warm honey butter. Since I'm bit of a small eater in the mornings we decided to share from their Al a carte menu. Sharing a blueberry infused waffle and country potatoes and let me tell you -- absolutely delicious home cooking!! The waffle is crispy, the sorta sweet I love, served with fresh blueberries. The country potatoes were my SO's favorite, the seasoning was 10/10. Salty, savory, not spicy yet spiced (I am totally stealing this recipe!!). The waitress was attentive even though we were the first people in the building that morning, she did not forget us during her morning opening. They played some fun Beyoncé tracks to wake up to, it was clean with fast service. Would absolutely recommend this place to any tourists traveling through!!

This was our first time going to this restaurant and the food was delicious,we will be going back. Its was a very relaxing atmosphere, very clean and staff was very polite. My kids always get chicken, everywhere we go and they said the chicken was seasoned just wright We all had chicken and waffles and its not something I eat, but this was really good.

the food was okay, but I was not too excited about the service overall. We had to ask for cream and sugar with coffee... we had to ask for silverware .. simple things could've made the experience much better. In my perspective it didn't seem that busy but I could be wrong. The wait wasn't too long either so i'm not sure what the hiccup was. The ambiance was very chill and relaxed.. the music was good too. The fish and grits came out in a skillet and was pretty yummy... I should've ordered that! and my french toast platter was decent but didn't stand out. I asked for cheese in my eggs but can't even recall tasting cheese in them. the home made biscuits were the life of the party probably would go back if it's on a different day. Maybe I went on an off day, would love to revisit when then service is better and maybe order something different. :)

The music, the vibe, the food, the service! Chef D and Chef Veronica invited me in to chill on a hot Sunday afternoon, during their pop-up at the Inner Harbor, this weekend. If you haven't heard, you need to come see it for yourself! The Inner Harbor is reopening for business. I had the cheesesteak and fries with an icy cold Coca-Cola... it's going to set you back $20. But it tastes sooo much better than the fast food options downtown. Come through for a taste, experience the vibe! Soft opening next Thursday & Grand opening with all the fanfare on Friday!

My wife had an appointment at Mercy Hospital on Saturday morning. So as I was waiting for her, I asked one of the nurses where is the best place for a great breakfast and he said "oh you gotta go to Saturday Morning Cafe!" We had an incredible breakfast and fantastic service. I was unsure of some items that I was considering to order and the waiters asked me what I liked and how hungry I was and he recommend the breakfast skillet. He was absolutely spot on. If you love crabcakes, you gotta get the Baltimore skillet. Two crabcakes with fried potatoes, peppers, and onions and scrambled eggs! My wife absolutely loved it!

Saturday morning is a small little restaurant in Little Italy. It wasn't a super big establishment, but I enjoyed the food. I had a salmon BLT--the menu did say the salmon was teriyaki flavored but I didn't sense that. But it was still good. My friend has the breakfast burrito, but she said it lacked flavor. The service was not up to par--our server seemed as though she didn't want to be there. Never mentioned her name or offered water refills. We had to ask another server for a refill. She didn't move with a sense of urgency.
